Club Meetings and Newsletters
The club meets roughly about every 3 months. Usually the meeting venue is the Dalby Community Centre in Dalby, but the venue might change to accomondate remote members or to honor special events.

Bunya Mountains and District AmCom Inc Nets
80 m HF net. Each Sunday evening at 19:30 AET / 9:30 UTC on 3.650 Mhz / LSB.
Club Callsign VK4BAD is used.
The net controller changes each month, so just listen at the beginning of the net.
All are welcome, you dont have to be a member of the club. Just check in with your callsign, first name and location when asked to do so.

Darling Downs Radio Club Nets
80 m HF net. Each Saturday evening at 19:30 AET / 9:30 UTC on 3.650 Mhz / LSB. Club Callsign VK4WID is used. Net controller is Theo VK4ESK. All are welcome.

VHF / FM (2 m) net. Each Saturday morning at 10:00 AET the clubs repeater VK4RDD 146.750 Mhz / -600 kHz. offset.
You can also connect to the repeater via IRLP, node number 6958 or Echolink node number 69580.

 

Foundation License Courses and Exams In 2016 the club will host weekends for foundation license courses and exams. If you would like to get your entry level license, this is a easy and fun way to do it. Of course you can also upgrade your existing license to Standard or Advanced. MeetingsClub meetings are on the first Saturday in February, May, August and November. The normal venue is the MYCNC complex in Dalby, however venues change in order to accomodate all members from a geographical large area.

 

 

Lighthouse / Lightship WeekendThe club activated the new Caloundra Lighhouse for the International Lighthouse / Lightship weekend in 2014. The team was: Andy VK4TH, Kerry VK4FKDB, Sharon VK4FSRB, Reg & YL VK4AQU. We are looking forward to have a similar event in 2016. Annual Club Camping Event The club comes together once a year and invites all members and their families to join for a long weekend camping. The next event will be in April 2017. We are currently looking for a suitable location and any suggestions are welcome. Everybody is welcome. We are planning many fun activies in addition to lots of camp oven food and - of course - lots of ham radio talk and activity.
