Return of the 6m Bunya Repeater
In the coming months, the 6m Repeater will return to Mt Mowbullan on the Bunya Mountains! 6 Metres can be a challenging band, especially when dealing with harmonics of FM Radio Broadcast Stations, as they operate at roughly double the 6m Frequency Band. Watch this space for further updates!
We have expanded our coverage!
We have expanded our coverage into the South Burnett region with the addition of VK4RME!
Running 40 Watts into a 3dBd antenna, it provides fantastic coverage all around the South Burnett region! Please give it a go:
147.025MHz, +600kHz offset, 91.5Hz CTCSS. Linked to Mt Kiangarow 2m Repeater.
Supporting WICEN Deployment
Over the next few months, some of our Members will be supporting the rollout, expansion and repair of the S.E. QLD WICEN Network.
It will consist of linked 70cm Repeaters, with range spanning from Chinchilla to Brisbane, Sunshine and Gold Coasts.
Digital Rollout
We have recently upgraded our VK4RET 70cm Repeater into a MultiMode FM / P25 Tait Repeater. Available for use by all Amateurs with ANALOG or P25 radios.
Please give it a go:
Rep Tx: 438.700MHz with 91.5 CTCSS / 293 NAC
Rep Rx: 433.700MHz with 91.5 CTCSS / 293 NAC
NOTE: Program your analog channel to decode the 91.5 CTCSS.
This will keep P25 traffic from opening your squelch.
